EB-2NIW

NIW (National Interest Waiver) is a way to apply for a U.S. green card, mainly targeting professionals with outstanding abilities. Applicants do not need the support of an employer and are not required to provide a labor certification. Instead, they apply by demonstrating that their work is of significant national interest to the United States. This method is suitable for scientists, researchers, highly skilled professionals, etc., providing them with a more direct and flexible green card application route.

Background Requirements for NIW Applicants:

A master's degree or above is required. It is preferred if the applicant has published English-language papers. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree plus more than 5 years of work experience is acceptable.

Advantages of NIW:

(1)No support from a U.S. employer is needed, and there is no requirement for continuous residence in the U.S. (no "immigration jail").

(2)There are no language or age restrictions.

(3)On average, it takes within five years to obtain a green card.

(4)It costs less and there is no investment risk.

(5)When one person applies, the spouse and children under 21 years old can obtain U.S. permanent green cards simultaneously.

(6)During the queuing period, the applicant can continue to work in their home country and does not need to rush to the United States.
